Hospitality Essentials is a hands-on 3-day short course designed for school leavers who want to build confidence, learn essential skills and get a foot in the door. This engaging short course is the perfect way to build your confidence and gain the essential skills employers are looking for. Across three practical and interactive days, you'll earn nationally accredited certifications in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Safe Food Handling—key qualifications for working in cafés, restaurants, bars, and events.

You'll also develop real-world experience in coffee making and barista service, learning how to prepare espresso-based drinks and operate commercial coffee machines. Designed to be accessible and supportive, this course requires no prior experience—just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Whether you're looking for a casual job or planning a long-term career in hospitality, this course will give you the tools to succeed and stand out in a competitive industry.
