Apply Eyelash Extensions

How to apply eyelash extensions
Learn the art of eyelash extensions to add definition to a client's face. Semi-permanent eyelash extensions create fuller, longer, more glamorous-looking lashes that are smudge-proof and waterproof, and allow lashes to look their fullest without any mascara required. We teach you how to style beautifully natural looking lashes, while also maintaining the health of the client's natural lashes. The course covers classic lash application.
In this course you will learn:
• correct handling of tools
• client safety and hygiene
• application techniques
• correct pick up of lashes
• correct use of adhesive glue
• how to properly isolate each lash to ensure they do not stick together
• assessing a client's natural eyelashes to ensure safe and correct application
• effective removal of eyelash extensions
• product knowledge.
Students require models for this course. You will need a minimum of 4 models where you will be assessed on two full set applications, two infills and two partial removals. Models will be required on Day 2, 3 and 4. Eyelash extension kits will be given out on the first day. Please bring 2 large towels, note pad and pen to your first session. Your trainer will discuss your model requirements in the first session. The student kit is included in this cost.
After successfully completing this course, you'll receive a Statement of Attainment for the nationally accredited unit of competency: SHBBMUP001 Apply eyelash extensions.
Please note: International students are not eligible to enrol in this course.
