We understand that choosing the right course can be a big decision, and sometimes, after receiving your results, you might feel unsure about your options.
Changing your preferences is a great opportunity to reconsider your study options. Maybe you've discovered a new career pathway or your goals have evolved since you first submitted your preferences. Or perhaps you simply didn’t receive the results you were hoping for.
Whether you're interested in health, IT, early childhood education, trades or art and design, Chisholm offers a wide range of courses and degrees that can give you the skills and qualifications needed for a rewarding career, for the better.
There are many ways to reach the same goal and we’re here to help you explore different pathways. We’ll keep you on track to reach the same goals and help you navigate the process of changing your course preferences.
How we can help
At Chisholm, we provide a range of services to guide you through this process and help you make informed decisions:
Course advice and information
Our experienced student enquiries and enrolment team can help you explore the full range of courses available. From certificates, diplomas, degrees, to apprenticeships and traineeships, we have a course or pathway for you.
Instead of applying through the VTAC portal, you can apply directly through the Chisholm website.
Industry connections
Chisholm is known for its strong links with industry. We’ll help you choose a course that can offer you quality education, hands-on training and real-world experience.
Many of our courses include practical placements that give you the opportunity to connect with employers and build a network that can jumpstart your career.
Diplomas and degrees
At Chisholm, our degrees can look a little different. In some cases, if you've already completed a relevant diploma, you can skip the first year of a traditional degree structure and start with us in the second year.
Find out more about our diplomas.
If you don't already have a relevant diploma, we will work with you to develop a Chisholm course pathway. For some of our degrees you can choose to exit early (at a pre-determined point) and receive an associate degree.
