Gain the food safety skills you need to work in the hospitality industry

This course complies with the legislative requirements for food safety and hygiene practices as outlined in the Australian Food Standards Code, and is suitable for those working in a range of food industry businesses including: child care establishments, community services such as Meals on Wheels, restaurants, cafés, hotels, temporary food events, and retail food outlets. Successful completion of this course is a prerequisite to the Food Safety Supervisor course.

Pre-requisite: Students are required to complete online pre-learning prior to the course date. If this pre-learning is not successfully completed, you will be unable to participate in the course.   • What to bring
    Pen and Paper. Kitchen appropriate attire including closed toe shoes and long pants. Please have long hair tied back. Hairnets and aprons will be provided

    Students are required to complete online pre-learning prior to the course date. Students will be emailed a link to this pre-learning one week prior to the course. If this pre-learning is not successfully completed before the course start date, you will be unable to participate in the course. If this occurs you will be offered a refund, or one opportunity to transfer to a later class date.
