Real-world learning. Future-ready skills
Tech Schools are high-tech learning hubs that help local secondary students build skills they’ll need for the future. Funded by the Victorian Government, they offer hands-on, STEAM-focused programs that bring learning to life and connect students with real-world challenges and emerging career pathways.
These are not the traditional "tech schools" of the past that deliver VET qualifications. Instead, they partner with local secondary schools to extend classroom learning – especially in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics – and provide access to future-focused industries and technologies.
Chisholm's three Tech Schools empower students with the skills and mindsets to contribute positively to our future society. They also support teachers with innovative tools and resources that help connect education to community and industry.
Open to students in Years 7–12 from partner schools, our Tech Schools offer inspiring single-day and multi-day programs that:
- tackle real-world problems using future technologies
- build practical STEAM skills and confidence
- foster critical thinking, collaboration and creativity
- support exploration of future study and career pathways.
Programs are free for partner schools across the Casey, Dandenong and Frankston regions.
