Gain skills to become an automotive air conditioning technician

Learning outcomes for the course include:
• Understanding the skills required to successfully service air conditioning systems. This can include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that are fitted to a range of vehicles and machinery.
• Knowledge on how to diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

This course is suited to people who’re already qualified to work in the automotive service and repair industry, who’re looking to apply for their Refrigerant Handling License (RHL). This may include:
• Automotive electrical technicians
• Light vehicle mechanics
• Heavy commercial vehicle mechanics
• Mobile plants technicians.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will obtain a Statement of Attainment for the following units:
AURETU103 Service air conditioning and HVAC systems
AURETU104 Diagnose and repair air conditioning and HVAC components.
