Gain hands-on experience in this one-day basic first aid course

Learn how to recognise life-threatening situations and apply first aid in the workplace.

Once enrolled in our Provide First Aid course, you will be given access to our pre-learning site which includes online assessment quizzes. Please allow six hours if you have no prior knowledge. You will then attend a six-hour session on campus to complete your practical assessments.

This course is for managers, supervisors, health and safety representatives and employees responsible for first aid in the workplace. The course is also suitable for anyone who wants to become confident in their ability to recognise and respond to common injuries and illnesses.

Please note: You will be required have the physical capability to kneel on the floor and administer CPR to meet the evidence requirements for assessment.

All participants must have access to the internet to complete e-learning knowledge and quizzes. Participants must complete the knowledge and quizzes prior to attend the one-day training session. Please allow up to six hours to complete the online learning. Participants that have not successfully completed the online learning and quizzes will not be entitled to a refund.

Upon successful completion of the course you will receive the following accredited unit of study:
HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID010 - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid.

Please note: International students are not eligible to enrol in this course.

Please note: If you are only required to obtain CPR skills, or CPR to update an existing first aid certificate (HLTAID003), Please visit the CPR short course.
