Gain hands-on experience in this basic first aid course

Learn how to recognise life threatening situations and apply first aid in the workplace with this two-day course.

This course is suitable for managers, supervisors, health and safety representatives and employees responsible for first aid in the workplace, and for anyone who wants to become confident in their ability to recognise and respond to common injuries and illnesses.

You'll gain hands on experience in areas such as airway obstruction, fracture management, respiratory and cardiac conditions, haemorrhage control, lifting techniques and burns management.

Prerequisite: To study this course, you must have the physical capability to kneel on the floor and administer CPR.

After successfully completing this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the nationally accredited unit of study: HLTAID003 Provide First Aid.
