An industry course aimed at farmers and park rangers

This course is designed to ensure 1080 is used safely to manage vertebrate pests while minimising off-target damage.
Prior to commencing this course participants will need to have successfully attained two units of competency:
AHCCHM303A Prepare and apply chemicals
AHCCHM304A Transport, handle and store chemicals

These units can be completed in Chisholm's short course Agvet Farm Chemical Users Course (2 day).

Successful completion of this course enables the participant to apply for 1080 endorsement on their Victorian Agricultural Chemical Users Permit (ACUP). Students will also receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally accredited unit of competency:

VU21625 Implement the legislative requirements for the use of 1080 pest animal bait product.
