Guiding the behaviour of children in the Early Education and Care settings can be challenging for even the most experienced professionals. A strength based approach offers a new perspective, looking at challenging situations whilst respecting a child's dignity, rights, similarities and differences.

During the session participants will be provided with guidance in completing behaviour management plans and how to work collaboratively as a team and with families to achieve successful outcomes.

This course will cover:

· challenging behaviour and its causes

· strategies to reduce negative behaviours

· how to provide environments that work with you to encourage and guide positive behaviours

· suggestions for meaningful interactions for children

After successfully completing this course, you will receive a Statement of Attendance.

Zoom sessions will be created by the short course coordinator or relevant teacher prior to the date of commencement.
