This hospitality skill set program is designed by industry experts to give you real skills, for the real world, to work confidently in a range of entry level roles across pubs, hotels, restaurants and cafés.

Learn practical skills in areas such as:

• Customer service skills
• Cash handling, EFT and register training
• Serving and interacting with customers
• Setting and cleaning tables
• Food safety and hygiene best practice
• Responsible serving of alcohol (RSA)
• Different types of coffee and coffee making
• Barista equipment – cleaning and maintenance of machines.

Our industry-experienced trainers will guide you through the program.

On the successful completion of this course you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment for:

• SITXFSA001 Use hygiene practices for food safety
• SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol (RSA)
• SITHFAB005 Prepare and serve espresso coffee
• SITXCCS003 Interact with customers.

Career outcomes may include:

• Espresso coffee machine operator
• Food and beverage attendant
• Front desk receptionist
• Function attendant
• Restaurant host
• Bar attendant
• Waiter.

COURSE DELIVERY
Delivery locations: Mornington Peninsula, Dandenong, Bass Coast, Frankston

Seven days of training over a two week period block, such as:

• Week one – three days, 9am-3.30pm
• Week two – four days, 9am-3.30pm.

Courses are ongoing in 2022.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum age 16 years of age and above to enrol
• Students under 18 years of age who complete SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol (RSA) will receive a Statement of Attainment however they will be unable to be employed to serve alcohol
• Enrolment is subject to meeting terms, conditions and eligibility requirements.

Please note: As part of the course you could be required to move resturant tables and stand for up to two hours.
