IoT (Internet of Things)

This course is the culmination of 3 core short courses:

. Cyber Security
. Big Data
. Privacy and IT Forensics

It is projected that 50 billion devices will be connected online by 2020, creating endless systems of systems, or networks, of objects and things that will collect and exchange information and data. This is what is now known as the Internet of Things.

The internet of things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, buildings and other items - embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect and exchange data.

The focus of this short course (Internet of Things) provides a foundation for understanding and the ability to incorporate ICT including electronics and programming to create a "whole of system" function specific to a business case.
