Get hands on with bronze wax

Lost wax, bronze casting has been a method of producing beautiful works of art for over 5000 years. All ancient cultures from Africa, Europe, Asia to South America practised this method.

The course is definitely hands on! You will make a wax model, which is set in plaster (investment). The plaster is heated and the wax melts out of the investment, molten bronze is then poured into the cavity left by the wax. The finished bronze will be a replica of the wax model! With our experince professional staff this course is suitable from beginners (no art experience necessary) to experienced sculptors.

Bronze (up to 2 kg) wax, plaster investment, patina and all finishing tools materials supplied.
