Learn about the benefits and practise of art therapy

Discover how art therapy can enhance your professional practice within the fields of health and community care. Alternatively, you can attend this series of workshops as a form of self-development.

This course would benefit play therapists, art therapists, psychologists, social workers, counsellors, case workers, child and family workers and health professionals working or intending to work with creative media in counselling, teaching and group work settings.

The six workshops in Series Two will cover the following topics:
• art therapy applications - working with depression
• art therapy applications - working with anxiety
• art therapy applications - working with families recovering from trauma
• creating and using mandalas
• archetypes and fairy-tales - how they influence our psyche
• using art therapy approaches - working with children identified with autism.

After successfully completing this course you will receive a Statement of Attendance.

The six workshops in Art Therapy Series Two are new for 2018. Due to high demand, we are also offering a repeat of our 2017 workshops in Art Therapy Series One. There are no prerequisites for these courses. You can undertake one or both of the courses, in any order.
