​This course is aimed at all levels, beginners or as a refresher for current painters.

What you will learn:

• Hands-on, techniques-based course
• The essential techniques of painting in a logical and simple way.

You will also be taught about paint-handling, surface, textures, brushwork, colour theory and mixing

    • Notebook and pencil (3B)
    • Brushes - a selection mid quality brushes, avoid cheap
    • Apron/protective clothing and enclosed footwear
    • A3 pad of canvas paper of at least 10 sheets
    • Acrylic paints: Ivory Black, White, Lemon Yellow, Spectrum Yellow, Spectrum Red, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Pthalo Blue, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna
    • Palette knife (pointed, in either steel or plastic)
    • Palette, such as glass, plywood or plastic – flat, without ridges or indents.
