Explore your creative talent

Drawing is a skill that everyone can master. Drawing is also the basis of creative visual thinking and is used in all art fields from tattoo art and illustration to sculpture and interior design.

This intensive five-week course will cover the basics of drawing and help you to discover the artist within.

Build the confidence to work with a range of drawing media, including graphite, inks, pastels and charcoal. Discover how to construct a drawing, use composition, tone, texture and colour. This course teaches you observational skills and creative techniques for drawing a wide range of subject matter.

Your drawing folio can support entry into a certificate/diploma course within illustration and visual arts, so it's an ideal first step for anyone looking at entering these career fields.

Students are required to bring their own art supplies. Please see the ‘What to bring’ section for details.

After successfully completing this course, you will receive a Statement of Attendance.

Due to the nature of our courses and facilities we request students contact us five working days prior to commencement should you have any special requirements, either accessibility or otherwise that we can assist with.
