When an opportunity arose to work in administration, Naz seized it to give back to the next generation of students in gratitude for her exceptional experience as a student at Chisholm.

These days, Naz is the backbone of the Art, Design and Photography department. She supports students from enrolment through to completion, so no one feels lost or overwhelmed. Naz goes over and above, calling everyone who has made an inquiry, offering tailored advice on pathways, payment options and next steps.

She is also a strong advocate for celebrating student success. Naz personally curates posts in the Creative Industries social media channel and plays a key role in organising the annual End of Year Art Exhibition to showcase student talent to the wider community.

Her colleagues value her as a primary point of contact. Outside her own team, Naz has built strong, trusted relationships across Chisholm. She mentors new staff, organises training and generously shares her knowledge to help others succeed while fostering a warm and welcoming environment.

Outside of work, Naz remains deeply connected to her community. She is known for creating spaces of support and reassurance, particularly within her Iranian community, where she continues to uplift and empower those around her.

Looking ahead, she hopes to further develop her marketing skills so she can make a difference.

Naz is a finalist in the 2026 Chisholm Education Awards – Service Excellence Employee of the Year.
