Shape and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces and gardens

The Certificate III in Parks and Gardens is a practical starting point to becoming a maintenance gardener, landscape labourer or production nursery worker. An apprenticeship in parks and gardens provides the opportunity to study while working across a range of environments.
This qualification equips you with the practical skills and knowledge to establish, maintain and care for parks, gardens, reserves and recreational spaces. You’ll learn how to work safely and sustainably while developing core skills in plant care, turf maintenance and pest control. You’ll gain access to industry-standard equipment and machinery such as mulchers and sprayers, preparing you for real world work environments.
Our horticulture learning facilities include greenhouses and irrigation beds that have been designed to support your learning development. With the support of experienced teachers, you will gain the confidence and experience to take on large projects in the workplace.
