Chisholm Institute understands the importance of supporting our international students. That is why we offer a range of scholarships which may be updated each year.

Pathways to Victoria Scholarship Program
New international student applicants applying for packaged course or direct higher education program with Chisholm Institute, may now be eligible for the Pathway to Victoria scholarship of worth $2500.

Details
The program funded by the Victorian Government supports international students undertaking package programs or direct higher education degrees.

Eligibility
Must be a new commencing student (not a current enrolled student of Chisholm Institute).
Accept a packaged program offer or direct program offer from Chisholm and pay the applicable fees as stated in the Offer by 1 June 2023.
Students will be required to pay a deposit in line with offer conditions, of which there will be a $2,500 non-refundable deposit.
Apply for a student visa with Chisholm as your principal course provider.
Progress to enrolment in the second course of your packaged offer. If students do not progress to the second course in case of package program offer, the non-refundable deposit will be retained in line with scholarship conditions.
The scholarship will be deducted from tuition fees for your primary course. -
Terms and Conditions
Recipients must commence their course by July 2023 unless provider defaults on the course.
Recipients will become ineligible if they defer their course and do not commence course by July 2023.
Recipients must agree to scholarship requirements and conditions of the scholarship stated in offer letter.
The scholarship is offered on a rolling basis until exhausted.
Recipients must agree to Chisholm Institute sharing the student’s details with the Victorian Government .
Chisholm Institute has the right to withhold the AU$2,500 deposit paid towards the second pathway program in case of unsatisfactory course progression, course deferment, withdrawal from course or other factors resulting in non-commencement of second course.
Chisholm Institute also has the right to request the student to pay back the AU$2,500 awarded towards the direct program in case of withdrawal for course unsatisfactory course progression, course deferment, withdrawal from course or other factors resulting in non-commencement.
Chisholm Institute may vary these terms and conditions without notice; and are subject to change by the Victorian Government. -
Application process
To qualify students will need to apply for a Chisholm packaged course or direct program and accept and pay by 1 June 2023. If eligible, details of the scholarship will be detailed in the offer letter. Students must pay fees in line with the offer letter to be eligible for the scholarship.
Chisholm Higher Education International Scholarships and Chisholm Diploma to Degree pathway Scholarships

Details
The Chisholm Higher Education International Scholarship will be offered to all applicants that meet the minimum entry academic and English requirement to study at Chisholm.
The scholarship will be offered from 2nd semester at a value of $1,200 per semester subject to students meeting certain requirements including no outstanding fees, maintaining progression, and meeting minimum attendance requirements. The total scholarship value over 3 years could be up to $6,000.
Existing students studying a higher education/undergraduate program at Chisholm will also be eligible to apply for this scholarship subject to students meeting certain requirements including no outstanding fees, maintaining progression, and meeting minimum attendance requirements.
For students undertaking a diploma to degree pathway, the scholarship will only be awarded from the 2nd semester of the degree program. In this case, a maximum scholarship to the value of $3,600 is available. Students in this pathway would need to meet certain requirements including no outstanding fees, maintaining progression, and meeting minimum attendance requirements. -
Eligibility
Must be a new commencing student in the upcoming July 2023 intake.
Must be an existing student at Chisholm undertaking a higher education/undergraduate program.
Scholarship will be awarded from the second semester only.
Student would need to meet certain requirements including no outstanding fees, maintaining progression, and meeting minimum attendance requirements. -
Terms and Conditions
Chisholm will consider you as an international student only if you hold a Subclass 500 student visa or are applying for a Subclass 500 student visa.
Scholarship value is maximum AUD$6,000 over a 3-year period for a student enrolled in a direct 3-year bachelor’s degree.
Scholarship value is maximum AUD$3,600 over a 2-year period for a student enrolled in a 2-year bachelor’s degree or a diploma leading to a bachelor’s degree.
Scholarship can only be awarded to international students undertaking a higher education degree program at Chisholm Institute.
No separate application is required for this Scholarship will be awarded if a student is eligible to obtain admission into a higher education program at Chisholm Institute. Scholarship will be awarded from semester 2 only. The student must maintain satisfactory attendance and academic progress to continue to receive the scholarship per semester; and have no outstanding debt.
• For a new commencing higher education student, the scholarship will be automatically awarded from the semester 2 where students have maintained satisfactory attendance and academic progress; and have no outstanding debt.
• For an existing/continuing student, pro-rata scholarship will be awarded for student that have maintained a satisfactory attendance and academic progress in the previous semester; and have no outstanding.
The student will continue to remain eligible to receive the Chisholm International Higher Education Scholarship per semester providing the student maintains satisfactory attendance and academic progress; and clears outstanding debt by an agreed.
Students will need to maintain a full study load. However, if a student is not on a full study load, the eligibility for this scholarship will be determined on a case-by-case basis by Chisholm.
Students on an approved deferment/leave of absence may be eligible to continue receiving this scholarship when returning to studies. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Students that receive advanced standing/credit transfers for previous studies may be eligible for the Chisholm International Higher Education Scholarship from the second semester Conditions apply.
The Chisholm International Higher Education Scholarship is not refundable, convertible to cash, or transferable to another individual, semester, study period, or course.
The Chisholm International Higher Education Scholarship is awarded at the sole discretion of the Chisholm Institute can make any changes to the scholarship terms and conditions without any notice.
Chisholm’s decision around the eligibility for the scholarship is final, and there is no right of appeal should the student be unsuccessful in securing the scholarship, or has the scholarship withdrawn.
If a student withdraws/transfers from a course, Chisholm Institute reserves the right to request the student to repay the value of scholarship back to Chisholm provided the withdrawal/transfer/cancellation has been approved by Chisholm. -
Application process
To be eligible to receive this scholarship, new students will need to apply for the upcoming July 2023 intake, pay the required fee to obtain a confirmation of enrolment (COE) and successfully obtain a Subclass 500 student visa. For existing students, the international student recruitment and admissions team will contact the respective delivery areas and obtain information around progression, fees, and attendance prior to applying this scholarship.

Chisholm Higher Education Academic Merit Scholarship

4 scholarships worth $5000 each.

Details
Current students undertaking a higher education program at Chisholm will be eligible to apply for these merit-based scholarships worth up to $5000.

Eligibility
Student must be a current student at Chisholm undertaking a higher education degree program at Chisholm.
Student would need to complete a nomination form, attach all the supporting documentation/information (marks and attendance for the previous semester) including a statement of purpose and have the form endorsed by their respective delivery area.
Students should not have any fees outstanding for the year of nomination, have a valid confirmation of enrolment (COE), have met the attendance requirements, have passed all the units in their course date, and must intend to complete their course at Chisholm. -
Terms and Conditions
Chisholm will consider you for this scholarship only if you hold a Subclass 500 student visa or are applying for a Subclass 500 student visa.
You will be eligible for this scholarship if you are a current student only.
Winners of this scholarship will not be entitled to receive the Chisholm Higher Education International Scholarships and Chisholm Diploma to Degree pathway Scholarships.
Students on an approved deferment/leave of absence may be eligible to continue receiving this scholarship when returning to studies. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
This scholarship is not refundable, convertible to cash, or transferable to another individual, semester, study period, or course.

Students who enrol and commence a CHC30121 Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education at Chisholm will be eligible to obtain a scholarship amounting to $4160 on the tuition fee towards the CHC50121 Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

Eligibility
Must apply for a package program, i.e., CHC30121 Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education at leading to CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood education program.
Student must have commenced the CHC30121 Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education at Chisholm in 2023.
Scholarship will be awarded only upon completion of CHC30121 Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education at Chisholm.
Student would need to meet certain requirements including no outstanding fees and successful completion of CHC30121 Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education at Chisholm. -
Terms and Conditions
Chisholm will consider you as an international student only if you hold a Subclass 500 student visa or are applying for a Subclass 500 student visa.
Scholarship value is maximum AUD$4,160 towards a CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood education program
Scholarship can only be awarded to international students undertaking the package i.e., CHC30121 Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education at Chisholm leading to CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood education program.
Student must have commenced the CHC30121 Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education at Chisholm in 2023.
No separate application is required for this Student must successfully complete the CHC30121 Certificate 3 in Early childhood education program at Chisholm.
