A plumber by trade, Nick has been lucky to travel the world and develop his skills in different countries, environments and projects. When an accident prompted him to rethink his career, Nick turned to vocational teaching. His extensive experience now forms the backbone of his teaching, where he leads by example.
Nick is dedicated to enhancing the student experience in the Certificate III and IV in Plumbing. He provides strong technical guidance and personalised support, designing inclusive assessments and learning materials that help all learners build digital literacy and confidence. He also offers one‑to‑one sessions for students who need extra help, ensuring no one is left behind.
Drawing on his own studies in the Associate Degree in Vocational Education and Training, Nick brings fresh strategies and contemporary teaching practices into the classroom. He enjoys collaborating closely with colleagues and industry partners, sharing resources and running information sessions on the rapidly changing industry standards.
He maintains industry currency, ensuring he course aligns with professional licensing requirements. Nick’s commitment is evident in his willingness to take on specialised training, including delivering the Certificate IV Sewer and Certificate IV Septic units - areas requiring deep technical knowledge and precision.
Nick is driven by a genuine desire to improve the industry and equip his students with the skills to build successful careers.
