Strengthening the early childhood workforce.

In collaboration with the Department of Education, Chisholm has launched the Early Childhood Traineeship Program to support workforce stability and address the workforce shortages in the early childhood education and care sector, across Victoria.
The traineeship allows students to undertake on-the-job training with an employer, while they study a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care either part time or full time.

The program aims to attract and train more educators so all children can access quality early learning. Trainees can complete their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care to begin their career and advance their skills with the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
