When you successfully complete the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, you’ll have the skills you need for a rewarding career in hospitality, working as a fully qualified cook.

You’ll learn how to plan and cost menus, select, and prepare a variety of food, cater for specific dietary requirements and cultural needs, and apply food safety and hygiene procedures.

Training is delivered either in your workplace or on campus one day a week. Your employer will help you decide which is best for you.

Chisholm courses are subject to minimum and maximum group numbers. Courses may be cancelled or postponed if minimum numbers are not achieved by the start date of the course. Courses may close prior to the start date if the maximum numbers are reached. In that situation, eligible applicants will be offered a place in the next available intake.
