How do we use your investment?

As a not-for-profit event, all proceeds go directly to the awards program. Monies are primarily used for prizes to award winners and finalists and may be used for other aspects directly relating to the staging of the event.

Acceptance and allocation

Chisholm Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any applications for sponsorship. Sponsorship packages will be generally allocated to those organisations who apply earliest however allocation of sponsorship packages is at the discretion of Chisholm Institute, whose decision will be final.

Applications and payment

Complete and return the acceptance form to events@chisholm.edu.au. On receipt of the form, a confirmation letter will be sent with a tax invoice for the total amount. If payment is not received by the invoice due date the sponsorship may become available to other interested organisations. Please note that returning an acceptance form does not guarantee a place at the requested level. A confirmation letter will be sent to confirm the level of sponsorship.

Deadlines

The deadlines for delivery or supply of materials, information or artwork are not negotiable. It is the organisation’s responsibility to provide copies of logos in the correct format requested. In the event that materials, information or artwork are not received by the due date, use for their intended purpose cannot be guaranteed. The value of these entitlements will not be refunded if this is the case. Chisholm Institute requirements for logos, specifications and delivery details for pull-up banners or other opportunities will be confirmed in writing at a later date.

Cancellation policy

In the case of sponsorship cancellation, notification in writing must be sent to Chisholm Institute. If the cancellation is received up to one month before the event an administration fee of 25 per cent of the total price will be retained. If the cancellation is received less than one month before the event no refund is applicable.

Consequential damage

Chisholm Institute will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from a breach of the sponsorship contract.

Exceptional circumstances

Chisholm Institute reserves the right to change the awards event if exceptional circumstances demand. In the event of changes to the awards event the agreement to participate will remain unless the sponsor benefits cannot be met by Chisholm Institute. Chisholm Institute will use reasonable endeavours to remedy the impact of exceptional circumstances.

Responsibility

Chisholm Institute and the awards event venue accept no responsibility for any act, accident, omission on the part of the service providers, the accuracy or content of any written or verbal statements by speakers in connection with this event, delay, damage, personal injury or death.

Sponsorship opportunities

Please refer to the sponsorship opportunities in the section headed ‘sponsorship levels’ within the Sponsorship Prospectus document. Any variations to the description of each package must be agreed in writing by Chisholm Institute.

Unavoidable occurrences

In the event the Education Awards ceremony is cancelled or delayed through no fault of the event venue or Chisholm Institute, including but not limited to fire, flood, labour disputes, natural disasters, acts of God, civil disorders, riots, insurrections, work stoppages, slow-downs or disputes, or other similar events, Chisholm will do all it can to reschedule the event, however, the sponsor shall not be entitled to any refund or claim any loss or damage.
