Begin your IT journey while you are still at school

This qualification builds confidence and job-ready capability. Gain practical, hands-on learning, you will develop safe digital habits, strengthen problem-solving and communication, and gain the mindset needed to support users and technology in real workplaces.

You will learn to explore common operating systems and hardware, run diagnostics and maintain devices, protect personal and workplace information, apply creative thinking. Try introductory programming, install and secure small-office/home-office networks, provide client-focused support, complete basic system administration, and understand intellectual property, privacy and ethics in ICT. Successful completion of this course, students are prepared for entry-level roles such as ICT support officer or help desk technician, and are well positioned to continue with further study at Chisholm.
