Multi-Trade Pathway Program

Chisholm VETDSS offers Multi-Trade Pathway Programs that are suitable for any VETDSS students who’re unsure of the pathway they would like to pursue. The Multi-Trade Pathway includes a mixture of units taken from similar courses to assist in the student’s journey into their desired future career pathway.

The Multi-trade Pathway is intended for students in Year 10, however, students studying Year 11 or Year 12 are welcome to apply. This Multi-Trade Pathway Program equates to 196 nominal hours.

2026 Proposed Delivery:
Dandenong and Frankston (Tue)

Students who complete a Multi-trade Pathway Program will receive a Statement of Attainment at the conclusion of the academic year. Students are eligible to progress to 2nd Year Building & Construction (Carpentry) or 1st Year in other trade courses.

Admission requirements

Have a demonstrated capacity in reading ,writing, numeracy, oracy and learning to level 2 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF)
