The nursing program at Chisholm is based on best practice in health care and will prepare you to work as an enrolled nurse who can practice, deliver care, provide assistance and support to individuals that is person-centered.
You will learn through a combination of on-campus theory delivery, simulation activities in nursing skills laboratory, and 400 hours of supported clinical placement in a variety of settings. Experienced teachers, who are experts in the field, will guide you through the program.
Applicants will be shortlisted and invited to attend an interview with a panel of Nursing teachers. You will need to provide evidence of the following during the interview: police check, working with children check (these checks are obtained in Australia), international criminal check, and immunisation history.
