Understand adult learning and how to achieve your career goals

This course is designed for people with special learning needs. This certificate will help you develop skills to plan your learning. You will be taught a range of communication skills. It will also help you learn how to access community services.

Class sizes are small with adult students. When you complete the Certificate I in Transition Education, you will have more confidence and social skills. These skills will help you on for study, employment and life.


Please note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing requirements, to continue your learning journey, this program will be delivered remotely where possible.

Participants will be required to engage with learning material online and via video conferencing software rather than attend classes.  Refer to our COVID-19 Online Service Standards for details of minimum technical requirements and support available. While it is expected that the course duration will remain unchanged, it may be necessary to extend the completion date if circumstances change. Chisholm will be monitoring the situation closely and inform of any changes if the duration of a course is extended.

Chisholm courses are subject to minimum and maximum group numbers. Courses may be cancelled or postponed if minimum numbers are not achieved by the start date of the course. Courses may close prior to the start date if the maximum numbers are reached. In that situation, eligible applicants will be offered a place in the next available intake.
