The venue

Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Course
211-279 Skye Rd, Frankston VIC 3199

Located in Melbourne’s famous Sandbelt golf region, Peninsula Kingswood has two championship golf courses and world-class-facilities.

The charity golf day is held on the South Course – which is longer, flatter and more open than The North, with stunning views across its fairways. The South Course is characterised by its creek lines and dry-stone walls. Bunkering and green design put a premium on positioning from the tee-a true test of strategic golf.

Golf format

Ambrose – 18 holes

The Ambrose format is very popular as it allows all standards of golfers to mix and play together with equal enjoyment, irrespective of their ability. It also helps to promote teamwork as one score is recorded per hole. Generally, it minimises the amount of time looking for lost balls!

The Ambrose format may vary according to the competition, but a general, popular format is the main feature of this method of scoring.
