Course structure
To complete the Bachelor of Business (Management and Leadership), students must complete the 24 subjects (288 credit points). A full-time student will enrol in 4 subjects per semester so can complete the Bachelor in 3 years.

Alternatively, students may choose to exit with an Associate Degree of Business (Management and Leadership) upon the successful completion of all 16 first and second year subjects (192 credit points).

Indicative workload
Weekly workload per semester for 4 subjects: 12 hours face-to-face plus 24 hours personal study time. Three days per week at our Dandenong Campus and online.

Semester one

Managing Sustainability introduces the concept of sustainability and adopts a systems-thinking approach to explore the complex interrelationships between environmental, economic, and social dimensions. Students from diverse disciplines work collaboratively, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to research, analysis, and problem-solving aimed at driving positive and sustainable change. Working in teams, students critically evaluate stakeholder management practices and sustainability strategies of large global corporations. The subject also provides opportunities to develop, demonstrate, and document work-ready skills aligned with students’ intended career pathways.
