Develop foundation skills in visual arts and kick-start your career with this flexible course

The Certificate III in Visual Arts is a foundational course that focuses on creative thinking, art practice and theory. You will explore colour, drawing, painting, creative design, sculpture, printmaking and more.

This course provides flexible study options for people interested in the visual arts sector. Whether you work full-time, have small children, or have other priorities, you can make this course work for you.

You'll be guided either online or in person by our teachers, who are current practising artists. Most classes will be delivered online as live interactive sessions. And the workshop intensives are delivered face-to-face on campus.

There are two online sessions per week, and face-to-face workshops held every six weeks on a Saturday in our art studios. You'll be involved in exhibitions, including the annual mid-year and end-of-year exhibitions. And you'll be invited to attend our visiting artist days.
