If you work in the heavy commercial vehicle mechanical technology industry and want to gain a formal qualification in the field, this course is for you.
During the course, you'll learn about workplace safety and equipment and gain hands on experience servicing everything from batteries, transmissions, engine and drive assemblies to hydraulic, steering and braking systems.
This is an accredited apprenticeship course, which involves a competency-based assessment program that can be undertaken in the workplace, at Chisholm, or a combination of both.
When you successfully complete this course, you’ll have the confidence to work on a broad range of heavy road transport components.

Chisholm courses are subject to minimum and maximum group numbers. Courses may be cancelled or postponed if minimum numbers are not achieved by the start date of the course. Courses may close prior to the start date if the maximum numbers are reached. In that situation, eligible applicants will be offered a place in the next available intake.
