Our Associate Degree of Psychology accepts any health, community or social services Diploma from registered training organisations in Australia (or equivalent), as entry into second year.

Have you studied a Diploma in one of the following areas? Health, allied health, nursing, community services, social services or early childhood education?

If so, that Diploma counts as the first year of your Associate Degree of Psychology.

Progress your career in psychology, counselling, and mental health through advanced social, community and research psychology skills with entry from your Diploma. Chisholm Psychology programs use the pathway degree model developed within the Higher Education College, allowing entry into accredited Psychology programs through non-traditional pathways.

Chisholm’s Associate Degree and Bachelor of Psychology combine the work-ready elements of health related Diplomas with the research, statistical and theoretical understanding of psychology and psychological disorders. Our psychology program is three phased, with phase one consisting of your Diploma. The second phase of the program delivers the Associate Degree component over one year. Students have the option to leave the program at the conclusion of this year with their recognised Diploma and Associate Degree of Psychology.

The third and final phase of the program consists of a further year of study and the completion of the Bachelor Degree. Students who successfully complete this phase leave the program with their Diploma and Bachelor of Psychology.
