Architects Grey Puksand have drawn upon their breadth of knowledge across teaching, learning and workspace to design a facility that not only provides for today’s students but one that will evolve with the needs of tomorrow.

Stage 2 incorporates a range of both formal and informal teaching and learning spaces equipped with flexible furniture and technology, providing educators with choices beyond the traditional classroom environment. Workshops, studios, large and small group zones, enclosed areas and social spaces have all been factored into the design.

The learning spaces will be supported by a new Student Hub to consolidate and centralise student support services. Located on the ground floor the Hub will offer a one-stop-shop for enrolment, student services, and student counselling and support services. The project also includes a student Learning Commons, Showcase Gallery for arts students, food, beverage, and retail outlets as well as staff workspaces.

Outdoor areas will provide opportunities for recreation, connectivity between buildings across the campus, and much needed general amenity, including active and passive environments. These will be located on both the ground floor and in terraced areas on the upper levels of the building.
