It’s never too soon to start thinking about your career and pathways.
Our team of qualified careers counsellors are committed to supporting Chisholm transition into employment and/or further study. Our Careers Counsellors can also continue to provide you with support for up to 6 months after you complete your studies.
Our Careers Counsellors can give you targeted careers advice and help including:
- career exploration (including basic assessment)
- information about current job market and career opportunities, and what your employer might expect from you
- support recommitting to your course, or exploring alternative pathways or course options
- pathways planning and goal setting
- volunteering and work experience opportunities
- practical support with job applications, and preparing for interviews
- job seeking strategies
- help preparing VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre) applications
- work readiness
- pre- and post-placement support
- referral to other support services like personal counselling, disability support or student success and wellbeing.
