It’s never too soon to start thinking about your career and pathways.

Our team of qualified careers counsellors are committed to supporting Chisholm transition into employment and/or further study. Our Careers Counsellors can also continue to provide you with support for up to 6 months after you complete your studies.

Our Careers Counsellors can give you targeted careers advice and help including:

  • career exploration (including basic assessment)
  • information about current job market and career opportunities, and what your employer might expect from you
  • support recommitting to your course, or exploring alternative pathways or course options
  • pathways planning and goal setting
  • volunteering and work experience opportunities
  • practical support with job applications, and preparing for interviews
  • job seeking strategies
  • help preparing VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre) applications
  • work readiness
  • pre- and post-placement support
  • referral to other support services like personal counselling, disability support or student success and wellbeing.
