Get qualified in the rewarding field of Early Childhood while completing your secondary school studies

This course offers basic training for people who are seeking to work with more qualified staff in providing education programs and quality care for babies and children.

The program trains students for centre-based, out of school hours, family day care and nanny roles, and caring for infants and children up to 12 years. Skills learned at the certificate III level include basic knowledge, training and understanding of child development and how to foster and support the emotional and educational wellbeing of infants and children.

PLEASE NOTE: We have reviewed our delivery strategies for this program and will now be offering full completion of the Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care over two years of study.

All students are required to attend a compulsory information session as part of the enrolment process. This will include a language literacy and numeracy assessment. Schools will be notified with dates, times and locations closer to the time.
