Learn the highly regarded skill of Electrolysis
Electrolysis is a safe and established method for permanently removing unwanted hair from the face and body. It is a highly regarded professional skill, requiring precise treatment planning based on knowledge of hair growth patterns and the controlled application of electrical currents to achieve long-lasting results.
This short course develops the knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver professional electrolysis treatments for the permanent removal of unwanted hair on the face and body. It covers hair biology principles and the safe, effective use of electrical currents to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
Participants will gain skills in client consultation, treatment planning, and the delivery of electrolysis services across a structured program of multiple treatments. The course requires the ability to prioritise client needs, synthesise knowledge of hair biology and electrical currents, and design and deliver effective hair removal treatments.
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive the following accredited unit of study:
SHBBHRS013 Provide hair reduction treatments using electrical currents
Pre-requisite: To complete this short course, you must hold SHBBINF002 – Maintain Infection Control.
Timetable: Tuesdays 5pm-8pm and Saturdays 9am - 4pm
