Interactive media and design student Emmanuel is confident his future employment is guaranteed
Emmanuel’s interest in digital media is inspired by the versatility of this field and the potential to seamlessly integrate with almost any other industry. Emmanuel Rigopoulos is also excited by the future job prospects his chosen career presents.
"I chose to do my Bachelor of Interactive Media & Design because it presented multiple pathways and skills. Interactive media is a growing industry and I don’t feel the constant pressure other students feel about finding work because I know for sure that I will be able to find jobs in this industry.
"It’s also a good feeling knowing that I will enjoy what I do and that I will not get bored. I love listening to the requirements of a client and apply my skills to provide a design solution."
Emmanuel is already working in the industry, after finding a job via Chisholm’s MyJobs job vacancy website. He now works for Victorian manufacturer Busy Bee Brushware in a graphic design and website support role.
"It was helpful to find a job through Chisholm and have the opportunity to immediately apply what I learnt during my degree."
