Chisholm Institute of TAFE is pleased to announce the appointment of
Dr Gillian Miles (Gill) as the Chair of the Chisholm Institute Board.
Gill has extensive experience in the public sector, having advised Australian governments and led organisations in national, state and local governments. She has previously served as the CEO and Commissioner for the National Transport Commission, CEO of the City of Greater Geelong and Head of Transport Victoria. She has held deputy secretary roles in transport and community development and was recently appointed as a Commissioner of Infrastructure Australia.
Gill holds a Bachelor of Education, a Master of Letters in Cultural Theory and a Doctor of Business Administration. She served as a Board member of the Gordon Institute of TAFE from 2020, before joining the Chisholm Institute Board in October 2023.
Chisholm sincerely thanks outgoing Board Chair, Prue Digby, for her service and significant contributions to the Board and Board Committees over the past six years.
