  During the course you’ll learn about basic numeric calculations, computer use, simple reading and writing, listening and speaking, living and working in Australia, and learning plan development.
  
  Dedicated and experienced teachers will guide you through the program, which combines classroom learning with interesting recreational and social activities.
  
  
  Once complete, you can develop your skills further with Chisholm’s Certificate II in EAL (Access) or Certificate II in EAL (Employment)

• Admission requirements

  Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age at the time of course commencement, be a permanent resident or temporary protection/visitor visa holder and be of a non-English speaking background, Completion of a pre-training assessment for English language and literacy skills is also required, Students aged under 17 require a completed Transition from School form from their school.

  Annual scholarships may be available to eligible students suffering financial hardship through the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation.
