The Diploma of Visual Arts will support the production of creative work specific to Illustration.

Dedicated teachers with industry experience will guide you and develop your skills in freehand and digital illustration. Students will have access to state-of-the-art facilities to support their learning in drawing, freehand and digital illustration, typography design and the use of a variety of media. Chisholm will help you launch your career in the arts industry through networking and industry visits, provide support for promotion of your business skills and your employment and freelance opportunities.

Strong emphasis is placed on developing students’ ability to create their own designs. Through group design activities and new approaches to handling materials, students will discover innovative ways to create arts.

On completion of this course, graduates will enter the arts industry with the skills needed to present their work directly to the public, supply to retail outlets, or find employment in an art business.
