Upon successful completion of this course, you'll be able to work as a programmable logic control (PLC) programmer or a production assistant in the engineering, manufacturing, or related sectors.
You’ll learn from industry-experienced teachers through a combination of theory and current hands-on training in our state-of-the-art specialised workshops.
You'll gain skills and knowledge to help maintain a business's competitiveness in a global market. You'll do this through the application of advanced engineering and manufacturing practices. You'll also be able to add value to existing products and services.
The course will cover how to program, operate and select robotics systems. You'll learn to apply hydraulic and electrotechnology principles. And you’ll master the operation of computer-aided design systems (CAD) to produce drawing elements, 2D drawings and 3D models, implement processes using PLCs and much more.
As a nationally accredited qualification, this course can also help you pathway into a Bachelor of Engineering degree at Chisholm's Higher Education College.
