  INHERENT REQUIREMENTS
  Core skills required for this course: literacy and numeracy range from levels two to three.
  
  Prior to practical placement, all students must provide proof of:
  • Clear National Police Check
  • A Working with Children’s Check
  • Immunisation record
  
  Students need to be able to complete manual tasks associated with sterilisation and should have a proficient level of physical fitness to be able to complete the course.

• Admission requirements

  Admission requirements are completion of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3, for both literacy and numeracy, Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of commencement of the course, Please note: Students need a valid Working with Children Check (volunteer), a clear national police check and immunisations to undertake practical placement., Students need to be able to complete manual tasks associated with equipment tray handling and should have a proficient level of physical fitness to be able to complete the course, Students will be unable to successfully complete the course without completing placement.
