This is a Free TAFE for Priority Course. Find out about your eligibility

Open up a world of career opportunities in ICT by completing a traineeship in your ICT workplace.

Combine work-based training as a workplace trainee in the ICT industry and learn the theoretical elements with formal training from Chisholm.

Students must be employed within the ICT industry and a training contract between the employer and the trainee is required prior to enrolment. Traineeships are a great way to be paid for work, learn and earn a qualification.

During the course, you will learn how to provide ICT support to clients; create ICT user documentation; care for computer hardware; provide basic system administration; apply introductory programming techniques; work in a team; develop and extend critical and creative thinking skills.

When you successfully complete the Certificate III in Information Technology, you will be able to respond effectively to technical support needs in your workplace.
