Open up a world of career opportunities in ICT by completing a traineeship in your ICT workplace.

Combine work-based training as a workplace trainee in the ICT industry and learn the theoretical elements with formal training from Chisholm.

Students must be employed within the ICT industry and a training contract between the employer and the trainee is required prior to enrolment. Traineeships are a great way to be paid for work, learn and earn a qualification.

During the course, you will learn how to provide ICT support to clients; create ICT user documentation; care for computer hardware; provide basic system administration; apply introductory programming techniques; work in a team; develop and extend critical and creative thinking skills. You will also be able to tailor your training by selecting from a number of electives.

When you complete the Certificate III in Information Technology, you will be able to respond effectively to technical support needs in your workplace.
