Established in 1974, Hanoi Industrial Vocational College was first named Mechanical Technology – Electricity Vocational Training College. The college merged with Industrial Vocational College No.2 in 1988; with Hanoi Handicraft College in 2003 and officially changed its name to Hanoi Industrial Vocational College in 2006.
