Start training for a rewarding career in the community services sector while completing your secondary school studies

This unscored VCE VET course is designed to introduce students to the theories and practices necessary to enhance their future studies and employment prospects in the community services sector. This is a Certificate II attained over 2 years. Any students who do not complete the fully 2 years will receive a statement of attainment for units completed successfully.

Please note: The course also covers sensitive areas and issues which may trigger learners who have experienced topics covered. On successful completion of the 2 year course, students will gain x 3 credit transfer towards a Diploma Community Services after the 2 years completion. Credit transfer will also be available for another course within the CASS department.

Proposed timetable 1st Year Students (subject to numbers):
8:30am - 12:30pm (Wednesday at Berwick, and Frankston)

Proposed timetable 2nd Year Students (subject to numbers):
1:00pm – 5:00pm (Wednesdays at Berwick and Frankston)

All students must be a minimum of 16 years of age in January of the year of course commencement. Year 10 Maths and English is recommended. All students are required to attend a compulsory information session.
