Study a La Trobe Bachelor of Early Learning with your diploma

La Trobe University's Bachelor of Early Learning is available to students enrolling in Chisholm's Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. This dual enrolment program is offered as either a full time or part time study option.

What this means is while you are completing your diploma at Chisholm, you can be enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor of Early Learning, an accredited teaching qualification for pre-school age children.

You will study subjects that will allow you to fully complete requirements for both the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and the first 18 months of the Bachelor of Early Learning. This will not require any extra work beyond what you would have done if you had enrolled in the diploma only. There is no additional cost for enrolment in the first 18 months of the bachelor.

After completing your diploma, you can continue in the degree program which is delivered as a fully supported online course with tutorials at a Chisholm campus.

There is no obligation for you to continue in the degree program, but if you re-enrol, you will be charged fees by the university which may be supported under the HECS FEE-HELP loan scheme to eligible higher education students.

If you wish to enquire about or apply only for the diploma, head to the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care page.
