Study a La Trobe Bachelor of Community Services degree with your Diploma of Community Services

The La Trobe University's Bachelor of Community Services is available to students enrolling in Chisholm's Diploma of Community Services. This dual enrolment program is offered as either a full time or part time study option.

What this means is while you are completing your two year diploma at Chisholm, you can be enrolled in the first year of La Trobe's Bachelor of Community Services that prepares you for professional practice in community services.

You will study subjects that allow you to fully complete requirements for both the Diploma of Community Services and the first year of the Bachelor of Community Services. This will not require any extra work beyond what you would have done if you had enrolled in the diploma only. There is no additonal cost for enrolment in the first year of the bachelor.

After completing your diploma, you can always opt out of the degree program. But if you wish to continue, you can complete your studies with the Bachelor of Community Services which is planned for delivery at Chisholm. There is also a further opportunity when you have completed the second year of the bachelor, you may choose to transfer to the Bachelor of Human Services/Master of Social Work degree at La Trobe's Bundoora campus. Here your entry will be subject to your academic merit and available professional placement.

If you wish to enquire about or apply only for the diploma, head to the Diploma of Community Services page and select enquire or apply now.
