Chisholm’s Bachelor of Engineering Technology, specialising in mechatronics, will prepare you for a career as an engineering technologist, a career in high demand both locally and across the world.

Through this course, you'll develop advanced skills in engineering practice, project management, problem solving, programming concepts, engineering system design, engineering scientific principles, instrumentation principles, manufacturing systems and workplace training.

Bachelor of Engineering remote delivery

Commence units in the Bachelor of Engineering Technology from your home country from 2021. These units will also provide extra preparation for students in the areas of Maths, English Language, Study Skills and introduction to tertiary studies in Australia.

You will be issued a Confirmation of Enrolment which will enable you to complete your degree in Melbourne when borders re-open (subject to visa approval and Australian Government requirements at that time).

You can undertake up to three units remotely in your initial semester. The cost of the online remote program (full time) will be $5,307.48 (for three units). If your preference is to undertake only one or two units initially, then this is also possible. Units should be undertaken in the following order:

  • HEETCM100 Professional Engineering Technologist AU$815.16
  • HEETCM101A Engineering Mathematics AU$2,246.16
  • HEETCM102A Introduction to Digital Electronics and Programming AU$2,246.16.

* The cost of the units successfully completed remotely will be deducted from the overall course fees. We will issue Letters of Offer based on our usual selection criteria prior to commencement.
