Chisholm Institute partners with CINEC and alankaEd to deliver VET courses

CINEC Campus will expand it’s course offerings to include Australian VET delivery

Chisholm Institute today announced that is has signed a five year transnational education partnership agreement between Chisholm Institute, CINEC Campus and alankaEd in Sri Lanka. With Chisholm’s transnational education delivery experience spanning over 15 years, CINEC’s reputation for delivering internationally recognised programs and pathways across diverse career fields and alankaEd’s strengths in developing international partnerships and showcasing Australian education, students will benefit significantly.

CINEC Campus and Chisholm Institute will initially deliver Australian qualifications in a joint venture partnership arrangement delivering courses in Information technology, Engineering, Electrotechnology, Electronics and communications and Automotive. With the view to expand the project into other delivery areas over time, aligned to the needs of the Sri Lankan market.

Chisholm will commence the project next month upskilling a number of CINEC’s teaching staff with the Certificate IV in Teaching and Assesment (TAE40116) qualification.

The agreement was signed virtually at Chisholm, Dandenong campus and by CINEC in Malabe, Sri Lanka by CEO of Chisholm, Mr Stephen Varty, Captain Ajith Peiris, President and founder CINEC Campus, and Mr Bhanuka Wanasinghe, Managing Director alankaEd.

CINEC Campus has established transnational partnerships with a number of International Education Institutions globally, however this is the first VET provider that they have partnered with.

CINEC was equally enthusiastic.

The agreement will form the basis for what promises to be a long lasting and fruitful relationship between the two educational institutions and alankaEd.
