Kiribati, located in the Pacific, is an island country comprising 33 atolls and one raised coral island with a population of 116,000. Kiribati Institute of Technology (KIT) is the leading vocational education and training institute in Kiribati. 

Since October 2018, Chisholm has been engaged by the Kiribati Facility to conduct Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment at KIT. The RPL assessments, along with other professional development services, lead to the award qualifications that meet Australian standards. RPL assessment delivered at KIT is supported by the Australian Government’s Kiribati Facility, Skills for Employment Program.
