This course is designed as an introduction to waterproofing

This course is delivered over three evening sessions of a four hour duration. This will give you an introduction to apply waterproofing products to domestic internal wet areas, such as bathrooms and kitchens.

During the course you will learn the application processes, product types, surface area calculations, industry standards and coverage requirements for waterproofing membrane and associated products.

Participants will also acquire a broad understanding of the regulatory and occupational health and safety frameworks through both theoretical and practical projects.

On successful completion of this course participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally accredited units of competency:
CPCCOHS2001A - Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
CPCCWP3002A - Apply waterproofing process to internal wet areas

With this statement and industry experience you can apply for registration with the Victorian Builders Association (VBA) to become certified in waterproofing.
